Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic procedure that involves implanting color pigments into the skin's dermis to create the appearance of makeup. The pigments are inserted into the middle layer of the skin (dermis), where they remain for several years. 

Permanent makeup can create fuller, more defined eyebrows, mimicking the look of microblading or powdered brows.
